the love of strangers is a great love. The blanket I received on March 27 at DCH came from a place that I did not existed, but touched me beyond belief. ASOP greatly deserves its recent award from PG County.Thank you seems small to say to these women who are doing so much.

Just prior to having surgery on 9/15/08 I was presented with the most beautiful blanket at DCH. I could tell that there were kind, loving hands that made the blanket. I will treasure it for the rest of my life. Thanks for giving up your valuable time for a stranger like me. Your act of kindness gave me the courage to fight because I knew that I had support from such a caring group. I will be contacting ASOP about volunteering in the near future. May GOD continue to bless ASOP.

I recently saw the advertisement in my Doctor's office about your 2nd Annual Dinner and Silent Auction. I plan to attend. I had a mastectomy in December 08. I would love to get involved in your organization.

I just went through a double mastectomy after finding out that at 34 yrs old I have Stage 3 Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer. I think all of you doing these blankets are simply angels on earth. If you happen to have any extra, I would love to receive one to help comfort me through my chemotherapy & radiation. My Oncologist is Dr. Stevens w/ Norton Suburban Hospital...the same place I had my double mastectomy. I do NOT normally ask for any kind of hand out but I would just love to receive a blanket made from an angel!!! Much love & appreciation , Renee' Luckett
