ABOUT ASOP

All Shades of Pink, Incorporated is a Maryland non-profit 501(c)3 corporation founded in the summer of 2007.  The mission of All Shades of Pink is to assist women (and their families) diagnosed with breast cancer with resource referrals, non-medical advice and/or emergency financial assistance during their treatment period.

According to the American Cancer Society over 200,000 women in the United States were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006.  All Shades of Pink believes that various acts of kindness help in reducing the stress that breast cancer families may experience. Our purpose is to perform acts of kindness to as many breast cancer families as we can reach.

We invite you to support our mission by making a donation, volunteering in one of our programs, and/or sharing your story of strength and encouragement.  Together we can stand strong in the fight against breast cancer.

As of April 1, 2008, The Sister Study will only enroll women from groups that are underrepresented in the study to date.  Specifically, they are looking for African Americans, Latinas, Asians and Pacific Islanders, and Native Americans between ages 35-74 as well as Caucasian women between the ages of 65-74 or with a high school degree or less. If you have a sister, related to you by blood, had breast cancer and you have not; are between the ages of 35-74 and from one of the above listed groups, and live in the United States or Puerto Rico, please contact The Study Study and enroll now. Be a part of the solution and make a difference.
